3% is standard for diesel. 5% for kerosone. 3% in diesel fuel is 3.84 ounces to a gallon, that equates to 19.20 ounces to five gallons.

Calling that the “standard” is a bit of a stretch; Kingtech, Jetcat, and Swiwin in their most recent manuals suggest 5% oil with all fuels to include diesel. But I don’t manufacture or service turbines so I can’t tell you why that is.

My Swiwin manual still has 3% for diesel. This is what I just pulled offline from the most recent manual

Preparation of Fuel
In a clean fuel container mix fuel using the following ratio:
 3% oil diesel
 5% oil Kerosene or JetA
General rule of thumb is to mix 5 gallons of fuel.
For smaller or larger amounts the following formula can be used:
 Gallons fuel X 128 X .03 or .05 = ounces of oil

If that has changed then I apologize for the misinformation. I only run Kero.

Same here 5% on all turbines all brands.
You can use 3% when you are burning Diesel, 2% more oil in not going to hurt the engine.

Just use 5%. Besides it making the math easier, it won't hurt anything.

We fly mostly Kingtech's who request using diesel for all but their tiny engines. Most jet pilots use the 5 gallon containers so here's an easy way for us to remember. For Jet A, we put in one quart per 4.75 gallons and for Diesel, we put in one quart per 5 gallons (yes, those tanks will take all of it even if over 5 gallons) Hope this helps.

Not sure why, but JetCentral recommend much less when using 2 stroke synthetic oil for the SE series:
Jet Central recommends using 2 stroke 100% synthetic oil mixed in 1.5% (66-1) to 2% (50-1) ratios. Any recognized brand that meets the norm “JASO FC” will work. Another alternative is 100% synthetic turbine oil mixed in ratios from 2.5% (40-1) to 5% (20-1); however this type of oil is not recommended from a health and safety aspect because it’s been proven to be toxic. The last alternative is Mobil DTE light with a mixing ratio of 5% (20-1).

This one? What do you like about it? and how's it different from KT oil or aviation oil?

I use that one also. No issues. Is not as toxic as aviation oil. It tints red so you know the fuel already has been mixed.

I get a gallon for about $40. (I buy it by the case of 4 1 gal jugs) I use 12.8 oz per 5 gal of diesel. That comes out to 10 batches of fuel per gallon of oil or about $4 per batch. As said in another post it dyes the fuel red which makes it easy to see in your tanks. I have never had a bearing issue since i started using it. Ive used it in my KT also. Im not paying $45/gal for DTE lite
