Default Aeroshell 500

A small Jet Munt 70XBL motor its on is way to power a JMB Mirage 2000 and jet Munt dont recommend this oil ...
I still have 4 quart , can I use this for something else ...car , tractor , snow blower etc......not for salad off course ?

I just sold my jet Cat , i contact the place where I bought the oil maybe they will make an exchange ...

I don't really understand why some manufactures say don't use it. I've used it in RAM, AMT, PST, Merlin, jetcat and G booster. Never ever had issues in any of them.

Off course ,
I use this oil for long time in Jet cat and Jet Munt engine ...maybe for the small turbine like the 70XBL its not good ...

The reason I’ve read and heard the most is that A500 leaves the most coking and crud on the exhaust side.

It’s the crappiest oil you can stick in a turbine that burns its lubricating oil from the bearings. Jetcat won’t say don’t use it but if you ask George who overhauls them in the US he will say it’s trash and cokes up everything bad.

The oils ‘sticking’ at start issue was mainly AS500...I told JetCat that 10 years ago...
I don’t anyone in the U.K. that would use it now.

Yikes lol ... I have one can remaining of 500, any suggestions for a JB220 turbine for oil? Kingtech oil? (using diesel)

I still run it as AMT still recommends it. They have a substantially higher service interval than any other manufacture. I have never seen an issue in 21 years of turbine flying. Just my experience.

I wonder if you could trade the Aeroshell 500 to a local FBO for some fuel?? Or maybe some dual time?

One of my friend who fly helicopters mostly with Jet cat turbine just agreed to buy the oil for me ..half price but not in the garbage bin...
Im getting Mobil Jet oil 2 next . Other oil are difficult to buy the US border is closed for Canadian . Actually its to protect us!
