Replace the top 'lip' on the pin with a groove and a C-clip.
That way, to remove a bent pin, all you have to do is remove the C-clip and withdraw the pin downwards, rather than having to straighten it to withdraw the bent section up through the bearing.
I normally make 3-4 replacement pins at a time, and they are then easy to change.
