Default Wing tube help

I need to know the wing tube diameters and lengths for a couple of jets, and where would be the best place to buy some new ones.

Wild Hornet

Kangaroo

Boomerang Elan

Also is there a partial second tube behind the main tube on the boomerang Elan?

Years ago, I contacted Ray LaBonte (sp), who is a CARF dealer, and bought a nice thick walled replacement wing tube for my Kangaroo from him.
Hope that helps.

Hmmm....

Every time I've bought a different wing tube, the manufacturers' go by dimensions only. Never found a vendor who had the specific model information you seek? That information usually has to be gotten from the model manufacturer.

Can't help with the Hornet or Roo, but you can try contacting Boomerang Jets ( https://www.boomerangrcjets.com ) for the Elan. If he doesn't have the tubes he should be able to point you in the right direction.

Hey Joe - for Kangaroo see manual page 30 - aluminum wing tube is 16 x 2 x 820 mm
https://carf-models.com/files/page/8...structions.pdf

old Elan manual if you need it - page 8 - only dimensions are for the aluminum dowels fwd & aft of wing tube

are the original sockets, carrier bushings not in the wings/fuse?

they will give you the od dimension you need, and the lengths can be measured and added to get a total for each. that just leaves having to decide on a wall thickness dimension.
