Arrive early and enjoy our beautiful southwest flying site. Plenty of free RV parking to registered pilots; we do not have RV hook-ups. Pilots will need to coordinate early arrivals at TIMPA, due to the entry gate being locked and secured.

Please don’t forget the Ryan Sherrow Scholarship Fund with the Academy of Model Aeronautics. By supporting this scholarship this will enable a young person to achieve their academic goals and dreams.

Saraf Farms is a private RC flying field located in Good Hope, Georgia.
We offer a 1000'x60' asphalt paved runway, a 150'x30' covered shelter, a paved pit area of 175'X25' and 100'X50' taxi way, as well as paved and grass parking of over 15 acres. Privately owned property is 320 acres and open flying area is over 1000 acres. Sun always in the back (runway is East-West orientation with the trailing winds usually down the runway)
Hotels within 15 minutes and Gas station within 10 minutes.

This event will be limited to 50 flyers. Spectators are welcome. Landing fee is $50 before March 17th, $75 after. Contact Andy Woerner to register ([email protected] or 858-837-2427).
Flying starts at 8:00 AM and continues through 5:00 PM every day. Outside event hours open flying is welcome, all types of aircraft. Night flying is also welcome. Early arrivals are welcome. Lunch vendor will be onsite. Pilot awards Saturday after flying.

Inaugural event for the Abilene RC Society and the City of Sweetwater Tx.
The city of Sweetwater has agreed in writing to help create an annual event in partnership with the Abilene RC Club

Event will be held at Avenger Field in Sweetwater Tx.
Avenger Field is the WWII airfield that trained Women Air Service Pilots and is home of the National WASP Museum.

Open Flying all day on Friday Oct. 4th closed to public.
Open Flying on Saturday Oct. 5th with public attendance, spectators' choice awards, public and pilot raffles and awards dinner.

Come fly with us at a full-scale facility with, wide-open skies, RV parking, Friday and Saturday night dinners, a Saturday morning hot breakfast, raffles prizes and more. Additional details, sponsors and announcements to come.

Seeing the success and demand for the property @ our spring event - we have decided to host a fall event as well in 2024. Taking into account no clashes with other events - here are the details:

To register - please send payment to SARAF FARMS RC at [email protected] (Zelle or Paypal accepted.) Landing fee is $50 before June 15th 2024, $75 thereafter. If you are interested in tent/s - please let us know the size preferred and quantity. We will offer tents based on demand.
