Default Jetcat P 220 Learn RC issue

Hi all

I have a new P220 RXI that I am trying to do the Learn RC on, when i turn on, It says Throttle Trim Down, I will do that, then Throttle trim up. I do that, but pump light turns on and the process stops and can't go any further. Do you by any chance know what might be the problem. All connections are correct and the Radio is Core and trim is set up correctly.
Thank you., Behzad

With all my past jetcats I had to Bind to the Rxer at 100% throttle channel travel (i.e. + and - 100%) and after bunding, change the travel to 50% (i.e. + and - 50%) Then do the RC Learn.

Update. The issue seems to be with Mercury SR2. I have done learn RC with JR receiver and powerbox 9 channel and worked fine. So have to figure out why when channel goes through Mercury, it does not work.

Second update. The problem was self inflicted. I believe when programming, I might have barely moved the stick as rudder when assigning channel to throttle. So, throttle was working together with rudder. Therefore, would not let the learn RC to go forward. I found this out by attaching a servo to throttle channel, then seeing what is happening.

Hi yes, I wish the spring on the sticks were stiffer. I tried to buy and replace them but I was told that I have to send the Radio in.

Yea, I had them do my springs.

Set the throttle channel to 80/80 or 90/90

100/100 is too wide a pulse for most brands.

Also make sure trim mode is set to LEFT and i use range 20% and Steps 100% that gives me two clicks to arm and 2 to shut off on the trim switch.
