Default Hatch options

I have made the main hatch (engine cover) fit too well! The method called for in the instructions is two pins and a sliding lever. (Top Gun MIG 29 kit) Due to the angles this method will not work. Or perhaps beyond my ability to make work. Could ya'll discribe or better yet post a pic of was to hold down a hatch? I'm thinking of side hinges or ???? Thanks for the help.

Not to be critical or anything, but if you post a picture of the hatch, you would get more of a response as to how to attach it.

Anyway, normally you want two or more pins in the front of the hatch and then the Hatch Latches (sliding levers) on the back partion (in case you don't fasten it properly, it will have less chance to blow out in flight)
