Default Bubbles in poly ply?

OK I need to make a bubble in poly ply material to clear a screw for a project I am working on. Can someone please help me with some instruction. I have tried heating up a piece of metal the size and shape of the bubble that I need but all it did was cause the poly ply to crack. Any help would be appreciated.

Patrick.

Poly Ply is a very thin epoxy fiberglass board. It is available in several thicknesses, but you cannot heat form it, like that.
How about punching or drilling a hole to clear the screw head, and then bonding a butyrate (canopy) plastic bubble to the Poly Ply?
