I had a great time at the show this year! There were to many awesome things to list. I do have 136 pictures of about everything that was there. If anyone is interested in a particular plane I can E-mail you what I have.

Yes, they flew the Raptor, but didn't do much more than flybys and about a 45-degree climbout.
I attended yesterday and was disappointed in the way the show was run. There were very long periods of "dead air," to borrow a radio term. When the F-86 was taxiing out, a Raptor and an F-16 took off, so the Sabre ended up taxiing back to the pits and shutting down. Bummer, since I've never seen a full size Sabre fly.
On the plus side, there was virtually no wind all day, and the weather was warm but not unbearable. Sometimes the Edwards show gets very cold, windy, dusty, & miserable, but yesterday was pleasant. AND, in spite of the prediction of 400,000 visitors, the paper this morning reported about 120,000 in attendance yesterday. It was less crowded than in recent years, which made the show more enjoyable.
I met Dave Hudson yesterday at the F-35 display. It's always nice to connect a name with a face.

The B1 did several low passes and the Thunderbirds did a show on Sunday. There were also some aerobatics with a T34, and a few flybys with a Warthog and P51 in formation. I overheard someone say that the F117 and some other pilots where not there on Sunday because their homes or families were being threaten by the local fires. Which probably also accounted for the low attendence.
