Default Need help!

I am trying to find the best way to glue the fiberglass down to the canopy. In this case it will be very time consuming because each individual flames need to be glued down. What is the best way to do this without having glue run down the glass? Will canopy glue work, or is it not strong enough? does it wipe right off if some gets on the glass? Thanks for any help.

goop.
light application and if any squeezes out it can be pulled of and or cut right next to the flame with sharp razor blade.
