I have never flown it but I hear it's great off grass as well as the PCM AV8R

Talk to Kevin at Great Northern Models. He has been flying the Facet/simjet 1200 combo for a while now. It does fly well off of grass.

I have not operated a 1200 AES, but I have been flying the PST-600 and love it. As for a turbine trainer I got my Dragonfly free with the purchase of the PST-600 during TGA's Turbine traner special.
The PST-600 turbine has performed flawlessly, just like a mini Jetcat ( same color too). The support is outstanding also.
I can't say enough good about the Dragonfly, I believe it is everything you could want to get started with turbines.
Check it out, you will be glad you did.
Whichever you choose.. Its going to be a thrill of a life time! GOOD LUCK
Paul
