There was a BVM Viper but that was yrs ago.It was replaced by the ultra viper again years ago and neither are available anymore. There is now a viper jet which is not made by BVM and is nothing like the BVM vipers.
I was in BVs place the other day and he still has his yellow ultra viper on the wall and it still looks the business.

There are many changes between the two. The older one was about 2 pound lighter, One piece wing, Leading edge extensions at the root of the wing and optional leading edge droops, everything was accessed from the bottom. The new one was based on the maverick platform, plug in wings, removable canopy, removable tailcone, no lex's, different airfoil. My old viper is still flying and I feel it is easy to fly once you get used to it. The old one, of course was more of a craftsmans kit and was a more intense build. I would love to find another old kit to build.

Thank you for all the inputs ,gentlemans .......... Your informations are very helpful as i'd read one of the article about the ultra Viper years ago but didn't get a chance to know what the differences between them .And i'd also saw Chris Hun flew a yellow BVM ultra Viper at the Best in the West jet event sometimes in the 90s ,the speed was clocked at almost 200 MPH with a BVM.91 and fan combo . Eversince ,i always wanted one but didn't have enough time to build back then but i'm still have a lot of favour for one until now.
Hi Maverick ...... That was someone else used the BIN option in Ebay as you'd mention ,but it was the one that i'm trying to get some research ...

man I was gonna try and get that viper off ebay yesterday but someone bought it before I could get to it. Looked like a good deal with engine, fan, pipe, retracts for 650
