12" Whip Antenna Placement ?
Hello,
I have the 12" Hayes Whip Antenna and I have been told and strongly urged to mount it out side of the fuse away from the turbine and all of it's components due to the high field of harmonics.
I was thinking of mounting it to the underside of the Starfire on a slight angle faceing the aft of the fuse, Then I got into thinking on my turns the antena will be faceing away from my Tx. Or running it on the inside of the nose.
Any thoughts, sugestions or coments as to where you guys are placeing the whip antenna's would be greatly apreciated.
Thank you

RE: 12" Whip Antenna Placement ?
I placed my revolution antenna in the nose of my jet. In the directions it states to make sure that you have it at least 1 inch away from other components...so thats what I did and it works great.
