P-80
I built his P-80 5 years ago, it had a built up wing and a glass fuse. The power plant I installed was a OS61 with a BVM fan unit. I had to decrease the ducting to fit BVM's fan.
The plane flew very well with the OS 61 engine, I would say top speed around 120-140 mph. One thing I didn't do was install flaps, I would highly recomend them. It was a lot harder to land with out them, it came in a little hot.
I used Spring Air retracts and they were heavy enough for the weight of the plane.
For the money and performance it's not a bad deal!
