Default Prado air field

Hi guys;

Anyone knows if we need to be a member or be with a member to fly at the Prado field (in Chino) during the week or on weekends?

Thanks

David,

I have flown there many times and an not a member. I think there is a $5 or $10 day fee to fly if you are not. Contact Ralph, Turbulence on RCU, and he should be able to get you more info.

Nope you don't have to be a member to fly but if you have a JET you must be accompanied with a regular club member who holds a turbine waiver. There is that small fee, but if you are not already a club member and would like to join, drop me a line. CRCJA members (who DO NOT use PRADO as their home field) can join the club for Half Price. So if you decide to visit us a couple times a year, then it pays for itself and you do not have to worry about the day pass and other things. Prado has become a VERY JET friendly field.

We have a four day weekend so let me know if you want to step out there and join us. There should be at least three or four of us there; we just have to decide what day. Email me your phone at [email protected] and we can talk.
