Default PROPJET ? ARF

Looking to get my first Propjet. I want an ARF. I'm experienced pilot but want something that I can fly off Grass field. Something that will take 46 - 61 two stroke. Any suggestions... looking for something thats not a handful. Thanks

Morris Hobbies Tomahawk ARF. It's expensive, but if you want to get into Jets, that's the fastest Arf that typically falls under "prop jet" category. There is another category at RCU called prop jets or something like that? Speed Freaks? Anyway, do a search for "patriot" and you'll find the right forum.

Direct Connection have an F-20 in ARC or kit.
Cermark have an F-16 ARF.
Great Planes have the Patriot, but that is a kit.

There used to be a Patriot ARF, but is was discontinued some years ago. The kit was discontinued as well, but was resurrected recently, so maybe the ARF will be too.

phil cole, i have to agree with you, f-20 tigershark from direct connections, i have 3 of them, they all fly great

1st one, kit, fixed landing gear os 46, flys great and average speed for a 46

2nd one, kit, fixed gear os 46 sfp pumped motor, "screamer"

3rd one, prebuilt, arf, retracts, speed brakes, os 46sfp pumped motor, " raped ape"
using it to get turbine waiver...

all three fly great, take off straight, land slow and straight

mark

Extreme Speed Prop is the forum where you can get all of the info. The guys there are well informed and very helpful. I have the Cermark F16, Kangke F20, and for lots of fun the Lanier F4. The Magnum .46 is a good choice for the F20 and the F4.

I have the Kangke/superkraft F-20 arf with a Rossi .53

It takes off in about 12 feet on grass and goes straight up while accelerating.
Very fast, lands at a walk.

If you can live with a hand launched jet, I have a Magnum ARF for sale in the RCU auction site. NIB ARF with Magnum engine, tuned pipe, spinner. A 200Mph jet according to the box graphics.

Hey, try the morris hobbies tomhawk.I own the first prototype built by tom stryker and it flys awsome. fitted with a morris-rossi 53,11-5 prop, dave brown retracts, drop tanks, tail cone and a few more things that ive done and it looks and flys great for a prop jet.ive also flown the newer version in witch they took 2 inches from the front and added it behind the wing in lengthin the fuse and it is even more stable. so i dont think you could go wrong in buying one of these. good luck on what ever you choose. Ben
