It takes about 50 hours. I built and painted mine in two weeks.

If you work two weekends and the weeknights in between, you can get it done. Mine took about 45 hours. Make sure you have all the servos, extensions, switches, ZAP and rf filters in advance. You will also need some heavy duty control arms. The hobby shop didn't have enough and I had to order. You will need plenty of aeropoxy. I used two full syringe packs. You will also need brake lube. If you try to use the brakes dry, your tread won't last long and the plane will likely veer to one side. I think that's the shopping list.

My white KC is here. Gordon Mc will be working on it soon and we will probably keep a log of time spent on it. Knowing Gordon, he may do a mini review of the kit. He just loves to build, especially bvm kits (lucky for me[8D])

DavidR:

What did you use for elev servos. I am debating between the 8411,8611 and the Hitec 5945!
I have the 8411 and the 5945, so I may go with them!!!

Ehab,

I had 8411's on hand so that's what I used. Plenty of authority you could use 8611's if you so desired (and if you don't have the servos I would just oreder them) but it doesn't need them......I'm having Deja Vu with this question! I don't know about the Hitecs.

You mean he painted it BEFORE installing the radio, gear and engine? I know it is doable, it just seems like paint is the last thing to do. Tell us what he did?
