Default Paint prep

HI all , I have two questions, first whats the difference between isopropyl alcohol, denatured alcohol and methol hydrate and their uses.
Secondly before you put your first coat of paint on your jet ,what is the best way to clean the surface of oils.

Default RE: Paint prep

To clean after all the priming and sanding is done, I use Dupont 3812 enamel reducer. Wet one rag , wipe and dry with another clean rag. 3812 will leave no residue and evaporates fast.

Procedure left over from 30 years of painting custom cars.[8D]
