Now that all the test flight are complete, now to the BVM METAL COAT. BUT, MAN AIN'T THAT A COOL LOOK!!! Now I know David Shulman and Joe Grice fly the coolest black jets, but it sure is tempting stop midstream and fly it in black. A visual challange?Maybe, maybe not? Who am I kidding!!! After expermenting with this stuff on the external tanks and other scrap pieces, I think I'm ready to procede to the fuse and wing. Scott

Well actually it CAN Be scale. The Italian team "Lanceri neri" flew gloss black F-86s with Italian national colors on the lower surfaces of the wing.

Cool Pics. I remember that movie, but I forgot the name of it. Lee Majors plays an old race car drive in the future after all gas powered vehicals have been outlawed. He gets chased by the coach and mentor from Rocky in the F-86.

Ask Tommy Watson about that movie, he filled me in on the details just last week. He is going to do his sabre in that scheme. If I may Tom, the movie was in 1984 called The Last Chase, and the hero was Lee Majors. The Sabre was flown by Burgess Meredith, but I think that doing that scheme and having a Six Million Dollar Man doll as the pilot with his bionic eye would be unreal. Actually Lee Majors drove a Porsche in that movie, and from what Tom says, there are some great chase scenes between the Porsche and Sabre. Maybe Tom can fill in more of the details. He apparently still has the video.
