Default Waco Next Weekend (Update)

Looks like a get together the weekend after New Years. Weather permitting. Long range forecast looks good.

Some have already committed to go. Talked to Max and he said nothing is going on at the field that weekend.

I need to get some flights on my new KingCat Only one fllight on it so far.

Will be there Saturday. Does anyone know if Whitlow is going? I should be ready for my check ride if turbine waivers still exist this weekend I think I am done ripping the landing gear out from under my F-15 - Pulcini don't say a word !!!! You either Mike, and you owe me at least 4 gallons of kero Anyway... hopefully I can find a way to get my DF down there - I'll have to be creative since I drive a mustang and the wings don't come off - oh well - if I can't fit it I'll just watch Joey fly my new Roo!

BTW....... how is this for a new JetCat ad?

Smitty,

I am hoping to go on Saturday, but I still don't know if I will be able to make it.
One of my dalmatians is having medical problems, excess bone growth on his spine creating pressure on his spinal cord and interfering with his control of his legs.
The medication is causing him to process fluids at an astounding rate, so he needs to have access to the outside often. If his condition has improved by Saturday and the weather is warm enough for him to stay outside all day I will probably feel comfortable enough to go to Waco.

Kevin, I understand.

So are people arriving Friday and staying overnight? If Joey goes on Friday then that's when I will go. Anyone know the forecast?

David,

Its for anyone that wants to go - not an event or anything. Df's or anything you got for that matter. If Danno goes he might have his prop job with Christmas lights. If I could fit all my planes in my car I would take all of them - .40's and all. It just seems like its a jet event because people come from a bunch of different places to fly their jets because it is such a great facility. All the details you need are on this thread!!

Where in Ft. Worth do you live?

Smitty
Fort Worth also.... (really Keller)

This is just a get together of friends and maybe some new ones. Fly what you bring. NOT limited to jets.

Exit I 35 at exit 330 (Hwy 6), go west on 6 towards Merdian
Cross over lake and take first exit after bridge,
go left on service approx 1 mile, turn right on Overflow Rd
Go about 3/4 mile, airfield will be on the right.
