Hello I was wondering if the Jester 20 is a good way to get started in DF's? Here is the deatils:
The 80% completed kit is a Jetster 20, designed by Dick Sarpoulis to be an entry level ducted fan trainer. The external pod makes starting, adjustment, and maintenance simple. The Wing has been reinforced to take the power of the 40 size fan unit with full sheer web and a ply dihedral brace. Airframe is 40"long, 48"span, 430 inches of area. 20 and 40 size fans are included. 20 size is the simple RK 20 with a CMB 21 motor. 40 size is the more complex but more efficient and powerful RK740 with a PICCO 45 for power. Fans and motors are new-never been run.
Thats what is included in the deal. What is it worth?
Thanks
Addison

So if I offer him around $225 that would be a pretty good price?
Thanks
Addison
Is there a place where I would get another wing kit for it, or did they quit making them?

Where in Nashville are you? Ashland City maybe? If you want to make it down to the Madison field, we can work on a trainer box. We have a little more runway as well.

I am in Nashville, I fly at Aschland City. My Dad is the Vice-Pres. Well I was not able to get the plane. Oh well. I am working with my plyon planes to get that need for speed. Plyon 40 with a Nelson 40 very fast. Thanks for all who replied!
