Default Roo elevon movement (the binding problem)

Just wondering what do I need to trim (elevons or wing) to keep the elevons from binding on the wing. Its not a perfect fit when the elevon moves up or down. Should I trim the elevon or should I trim the wing???

Thanks,

david

Default Elevon binding?

David, do you have the composite Kangaroo or the kit. It sounds like the composite since I had the same problem. If it is the composite model you can slightly heat the leading edge of the aileron or the trailing edge of the wing and bend a little to create some clearance. I used a straight edge to push on the leading or trailing edge. This keeps it straight and the longer the better to push against more surface at a time. This way it does not get rippled looking.
