Default Removable hinge pin on a single Robart hinge?

Hi, and a happy new year!
I am hinging a wing using the excellent tutorial [link]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_762215/mpage_1/key_scale%252Chinging/anchor/tm.htm#762215[/link]
Only difference is that I am making slotted flaps using 3/16" Robarts.
These are standing out 5/16 below the surface, so here I can obviously not use a piano wire as hinge pin.
Only solution I have found so far is to use the cotter pins from the large Dubro hinges.
Any other ideas?

Lars

Hi Lars:

You may want to consider the use of a #2-56 machine screw and the micro #2-56 locknut as supplied with the Robart "Horn" sets and used to bolt the supplied clevis to the horns.

I have used this method several times with great success.

Hope this is of help.
