Default P-200

I want to say thanks to Bob Wilcox and the Jetcat organization for working with us at LM. We received two P-200s late last year. We are pushing the engines hard and pass what is AMA legal they are proving to be very strong engines. I couldn't ask for any better support. This is one engine that can haul the bacon.

Mark,
I'm also getting one soon. It'll be used for a UAV I'm designing for the NAVY, I'll be doing alot of testing with this turbine.
As you know we're are also Lockheed Martin.

Hey Vince,
Matt can jump in and correct me if I'm wrong but it was my understanding that the P200 is not AMA approved yet. So the general public does not have access to the turbine. Guys like Dave and myself are getting the P200 for Military type work where we don't need AMA's approval. I know the Jetcat guys are busy working on the approval.
Regards,
Chris

Hi Woketman,

Sorry. I contacted Bob before the 200 was imported and received the early version. I suppose not having to do the AMA thing with ours spend the delievery up. They didn't have purple noses on them[X(].

The P-200 is being held up due to the AMA rules harangue. We hope that will clear up at the EC meeting (which is going to be crowded from what I hear). We have had them for a few months, going to aerospace users. It is not the first design Germany has had for the 200, but it is the final one.

Not sure what size a "peggy" is, I think the P-200 is 5.25 in diameter. Looks like it will fit in a Super Bandit (!). Like David said, the actual reliable max thrust number is far beyond what they will be set at. We are not even sure where the upper limit is cause we can't get one to fail (another story)

It is 100% JetCat.

Hi Matt:

Just run it full throttle and throw a $3.99 raw chicken at the inlet, I guarantee you it will fail!!!! Ater all, that's how they test the full size ones!!!!

Make sure you defrost the chicken first !
I am going to flight test the engine in a Eurosport with speed limiter etc. David Gladwin.

May be a good idea to drag some bricks to slow it down.[X(]
