Britain.

From http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html
780 British pounds = 1,138.79 USD with today's exchange rate.

Default Wren Price

The Wren price is £999.00 pounds sterling including UK tax at 17.5% so the price less tax will be £850.00 give or take a pound or two which is approx $1250.00 plus what ever you pay when it comes in the country ( if anything).

The wren comes with a ecu and everything apart from nicads.
I have just finished one two days ago for a friend and it is producing at least 12.75lb thrust as my thrust gauge only goes up to 12.5lb I dont know exactly what it produces!!!!

go get one!

Before answering your question on what all would be needed to get the turbine up and running - are you looking at air start or full autostart?

Default Wren engine

I got one for about $1540 with full autostart. Its taking some tinkering to get it to start correctly, but it'll be fine.
