My Roo carbon fiber flex plate
Thought I would show you my carbon fiber flex plate.
It is mounted on a Roo I fly from a grass field.
The flex plate is attached using 3 screws and a backing plate into the factory nose plate.
On my last Roo almost every time I took off I would bend the strut wire going to the retract.
This time I increased the diameter of strut wire and thought where will it give now?
So far if has preformed flawlessly.

RE: My Roo carbon fiber flex plate
I changed the stock former to this one in my Roo's. If you have a bad landing or if it is doin the Roo hop, the Aluminum Flex Arms will bend and the retract unit will be saved. It has helped me on many occasions. I keep a couple of spare Flex Arms in my flight box.

Ron I have seen your mod before it is your mod that inspired my carbon fiber flex plate.
So please accept this imitation as the sincerest form of flattery.
Thanks again
