How many clubs are in the area? It looks like I may be forced to move to the area because of my job. Are there any web links to flying fields in the Phoenix / Sun City area? Sure looks like a better place that my other option ( Detroit ).

Hey geneh. There are plenty of fields in this area. I fly normally at the ARCS Field at the base of the white tank mountains, in Surprise. I have flown out at the Sun Valley Fliers Field with Vinny and love it. There are more jet guys out there, and the runway is awesome with great approaches on either end, and i was flying a heavy, lead sled F-9. i AM THINKING ABOUT JOINING THEIR FIELD! There is also the speedworld field out at Jomax road, northwest of surprise. Hvent been out there but here it is great too. Other than that, there are way more fields, but not that many that i know about where jet guys fly. Nick

I'll be out in PHX untill March 5 with a fairly light workload. I'd also like to watch some fellow jet guys make it look easy. Would any of you PHX guys post some specific locatioons of the prominent jet fields in the area. I'll be in SDL but I have wheels and a Hacker powered Formosa to fly.
Thanks.

Hi Charlie
The Sun Valley Fliers located at Cave Creek and Jomax Rd. is a great place to fly. There are generally a number of turbine jets flying on weekends. Check the Web site www.sunvalleyfliers.com for the site map or give me a call and we can maybe get the guys together. Vinny Difabbio usually flies on Sat and Sunday. My ph# is 480 585 9717, Look forward to seeing you.

Hi Jim:
Missed you guys this year....Didn't bring a plane....entertaining non-flying friends from Wisconsin at the condo this year....and only able to spend 10 days out there in January.....
I am planning on making the Tucson Rally this year, so hope to see you, Vinny, Geronimo, Kevin and the rest of the AZ jetsters there.....

Hi Tom
Glad to hear you are going to Tucson. We are going to FJ and then head out for Tucson. Tell Jane I said "HI". Is your KingCat flying yet? I really enjoy flying mine.

Any preference Bob.....asparagus or spinach?? Both are Atkins certified.....kinda balances the CC cookies....right?
By the way, if you see Bob Price, ask him to please leave his Ch 37 crystal at home.....that's my frequency!! That way there won't be any conflicts...

HI Guys
I just wanted to thank Vincent ,Geronimo and the Sun Valley Fliers for inviting me to their field last weekend , while i was in Phoenix. Vincent was putting the Avonds F-16 through its paces and Geronimo flying his beautiful scaled up Euro-Fighter.The weather couldn't have been better , 75 degrees and blue skies. Now home again and barried in snow, its not right!
