Need more flight time using the BVM 96

I have installed a BVM 96 with the Viofan system into my F-86, I like the combo alot as its helping me fly better.
I have 2 11oz saddle tanks installed and a 2oz hopper tank, the thing is that my flight time is only around 5mins max. I would like to get at least 10mins of flying if possible.
I was told that the tanks i have now are the biggest i can get for Ducted fans. So i was thinking is it not possible for me to use Larger Kevlar saddle tanks used for tubine jets, Similar to the ones the Jet-tech have for the Yellow A4, they carry 58oz which would be double the amount i'm carrying now and seem they would fit in the f86 quite well.
Another problem is that right now my BVM F-86 is now nearly 17lbs how much more weight can this jet take if i add bigger tanks and still use the BVM 96/viofan combo as i am already over weight by 5lbs
Any suggestions
Thanks
Robert

How about wing tanks? Oh, and there is the turbine alternative
Turbine power package will weigh less than the DF for a small JD 54 or Ram 500 but a bit more at takeoff with fuel then less by the time you land.

Robert,
Another option is throttle control. A friend of mine went to "Jet School" and one of the biggest take aways was that he was using too much throttle too often. His flying is now much smoother, the planes appears to fly every bit as fast as before and fuel consumption was cut by about 40%.

That is something i will look into, but from the few flights i have had with with F-86 with the .96 it flies alot smoother with full power until setting up for landing, rememeber the F-86 weights 17lbs so coming off the power may make the F86 not as smooth flying wise. I just know my F-86 does not like to fly slower unless the flaps are fully down. It just likes that speed.
Thanks

I just saw these today and remembered seeing your post - 15oz. saddle tanks. If you have room, they just might be the ticket!
