If you read the post carefully tou will see why trademark infraction is so incrediably hard to make stick. I don't know why you likeit so much, because it really kills your case. As illustrated below the key word is MAY. Not will or does.
Copyright infringement is determined without regard to the intent or the state of mind of the infringer; "innocent" infringement is infringement nonetheless.[3] Moreover, although the exclusive rights refer to such rights with respect to "copies" (plural) of the work,[4] there is no question that under the Act the making of even a single unauthorized copy may constitute an infringement .[5]
Also, there are volumes of case law that not only would find in Tam's favor, but the majority of trademark cases are not found in favor of the holder of the trademark. Why - there was not finanacial or commerical interest.!!!!!! One more thing - there are several pages of footnotes that go with the above referenced case.
The United States has 5% of the worlds population and 55% of the worlds lawyers!!!!!!!!!!!

TAM you did a hell of a job on this airplane...... I think you should start churning at least one a week of the same scheme out.

Another thought,
You mentioned F900 is "right on the money", but his post dealt with "copyright infringement". Your original post dealt with Ferrari "Trademark" issues. Two completely different things.
But, while we're on the subject of copyrights, if Tam painted a plane, then that paint scheme, I believe, belongs to him. Similarly if a photographer takes a picture of something, then that print belongs to them. It was their "eye" that took the picture in that light, angle, etc.
It was Tam's hand on the airbrush or whatever. It is his artwork. Not totally sure about this, but if you restrict Tam from using his artistic talent, that could cause him financial hardship.
Of course, none of us know the "whole" story, we're only going by what we read.

Yes KAJ, I wonder what the copywrite laws are on using photo's from video productions for personal purpose, as the one in prolucks avatar?
I'm wondering if that would be the same as someone posting a pic of thier accomplishment. If the pic were being exploited for other then personal satisfaction, and there was monitary gain, or for purpose of "commerce", I would think there would be some grounds, but to just show off some work for personal satisfaction.......as a few people have recently said..."things that make you go..hmmm."
I can't comment to much here though. I hope it all works out for everyone.

It's the weekend of Aug 25 I think. Plenty of time to repaint all of those Hot Spot's, Roo's, and any other jet that would look good as a race car!

This might be pretty obvious but you can actually buy OFFICIAL ferrari sticker packs, Ive seen them before and as my post above Ive shown a link to them, They have the Prancing Donkey logo and everything, all in a variety of sizes. A sticker is a sticker and they can go on anything.... 
Far out!! I could paint my toilet red and slap a Ferrari sticker on and then ive done a TAM, goddamm.. That sounds like a good idea. Will I get sued for slapping my Ferrari emblem on my toilet, maybe I should try....

Anyway, since F900 has established that this is a serious business venture involving a HotSpot in Ferrari markings bought from Tam and several hundred thousand $$$$$ just two questions...
In you previous post in "Jets for Sale" titled "will buy broken JetCat or AMT complete turbines" -Send damage related complete description. ... Does this mean that the funds have already been spent?
Or does this venture not involve actually flying the jet?
