Default Need Drop Tanks ???

I need a economical source for 2 Drop Tanks around 10 to 12 in. long, I'm sure that the BVMs are nice just don't want to go that high, even vacuum formed would be OK . thanks...Don

Default el-cheapo method

Use Estes rocket parts - get a big body tube and a couple of nosecones of the shape you like - or sand the available ones to a shape you like. Plug a nosecone into each end of the tube and you have something that looks like a drop tank. I suppose you could glass the thing for paint.

Just an idea- I haven't tried this myself.
