Default Flexible header pipe?

The last piece of the mechanical puzzle in my Byron f 16 is the tuned pipe. I had some issues with the mounting, and the length. Thanks to these forums I have the numbers on the right length on the pipe and some mounting tips and tricks.

I have the straight header pipe which had to be cut to length to meet the length needs for optimum performance but soon found that since the pipe was straight, it was on an angle in the fuselage and would interfere with the operation of the nose gear. Would a piece of flexible stainless tubing be ok? The silicone would be fine 2 but the stainless tubing can hold a shape better to meet the unique angle for such a tight fit.[&:]
