How long can the oil tubes be between the engine and oil pump. I had planned to locate the oil pump and reservoir foreword of the fuel tank along with the rest of the engine electronics. Is this too far?

For the US spec motor (twin oil outlets on pump)
I don't think the distance is an issue..... The flow rate is VERY LOW.
Make sure the pump is primed, and oil is pumping to the engine in BOTH lines.
Filter before the pump inlet... and after if possible.

I was thinking it would be good to have access to the pumps. If I put them further back they will be behind the main fuel tank.
