Woketman: Yes Monokote looks a lot more Glossy than Ultracoat. Well, at least to me it does. Ultracoat just seems kinda satin or semigloss look to it.

HI EVERYONE,
I AM NEW TO WEB SITE AND ENJOYED ALL THE FORUMS.I AM ORDERING A DV8R AND I HAVE READ THAT THERE IS A PROFILE PLAN OF THE JET.ANY CHANCE OF A E-MAIL COPY, FOR ME TO PRINT AND START PLAYING WITH COLOUR SCHEMES FOR THE MODEL.
ANY TIPS ON BUILDING THE MODEL WOULD BE GREATLY RECIVED.

DV8R's,
I finally finished trimming my DV8R with a lot of help from a talented friend. It came out better than I expected. It is extremely visible in the air. The best thing is that is flies even better than it looks!
I have 6 flights on it now and it handles better than any model I have ever had my hands on including props.
It takes off in about 75 feet and will land so slow that I rarely touch the brakes. The vertical is great with the P-120 especially after some of the fuel burns off. It is very stable at all speeds and just goes where you point it like a good pattern ship. With the hammer down it looks like it is staying a little under the 200 mark.
I now look more forward to Sunday mornings when I can get more flights in on a great flying jet! A smoke system is the next mission. I hope to stuff in more than a quart of smoke oil. I will have some video soon.
