Since I've been flying jets, I decided to purchase a better radio.
I upgraded from a 8103 to a JR 10X. After using the radio for
a short time, I noticed that #7 on keypad would not work. I called
JR and they told me to send in for repair, I did so. After waiting
2 weeks, I received my radio back and the repair statement said
they cleaned the screen and tested LCD screen for 10 mins without #7 failing and functions checked good. So I tested the
radio and guess what, #7 does not work, all of them operate,
but #7 does NOT. Is is something maybe I am not operating
properly or what. Any suggestions or JR reps that could advise.
I would like a radio that I could use now.

Lick your finger and then touch #7, seriously I have found that helps sometimes--------- strange as it may seem.

Seriously, tho, I sometime have to use a differant angle with my finger on my 10x, too.

Sometimes the darned thing just ignores the touch, and I have to punch it softer, believe it or not.

Well It looks like now jet fly in for me this weekend for me. For this bad radio.

I fix my 10x problem I went to the hobby shop and got a new one .

I will send it back to have it fixed, I hope, this time. I am going to sell my 8103 to off set some of the cost of the new one this way I will have two 10x that match.

Well, I called Horizon, and there 10x is on back order for a few weeks. . Does anyone know who besides Horizon sells the 10x (Radio, RX, Servo and Etc...) over the internet. I would buy local, but tax is gonna kill me. I'm looking for new and not preowned.

Cheif aicraft I think it is carries them.

Get the Graupner MC-24 after I made the switch I've never had anymore radio Issues.

I called Jr and they said my 10x is fixed and on it's way back to me.I would like to say Thanks to Jr for taking it back in and fixing so fast.Now I may have to sell one of them off before my wife finds out I have two of them.

What did it cost? Or warranty?
