Funny you mention that they wont sell to you. A week ago I ordered and paid for a set of Y/A spitfire gear { putting them into FIberclassics mig} they said they have to make, would take a week.Today I get a credit card refund from them...
I assume they are swamped or something.

I bought the retracts ( mains and tailwheel ) plus the scale wheels for the Top flite !/5 th scale P-51 ARF, direct from Robart. I had to wait a week but they sent them right out. This was about three months ago. It's possible I suppose, they are changing their policy to sell only to dealers, but it would only take a phone call to find out.

I just ordered some parts from Robart and had it two day airmailed to me.
Try emailing Tam, his web site ads are all over this forum and he might have a nose gear..as I just got a 643RS nose gear from him..what the heck can't hurt! Also Art's Hobbies sells robart.

Robart do not service European individuals directly, nor do they care to reply to any e-mails sent from Europe. I have tried numerous times to get them to answer my e-mails without luck.
You might as well try Michael Binder in Austria, who is well stocked most of the time, for any of your Robart needs.

Not his rep. just a satisfied customer.

Hi guys,
I have known Eric at Robart for a few years and consider him a good friend. I called 4 months ago and placed an order for a set of gear. At that time I was told "a couple of weeks". I spoke with Eric at Toledo, his comment was that the company was behind in filling orders. He explained to me that the order had indeed been placed, but they were waiting for the parts to be produced . Robart has a damned good product, and great product support (at least in the past), but building season is just about over!!!! ALways in the past, all it took was a phone call and I had my parts in a day or two.
my 2 cents
