Can anyone help me source a quality set of decals for my Eurosport that I am converting to a scale scheme.
I've attached an image of the scheme I'm doing (quite a popular one) and I'm sure there are some decals sets available out there but I'm not sure from where!
Can anyone let me know where to get them, approximate cost, quality, what's included on them etc I think I read somewhere that there are 6 A4 pages of decals in the set???
Any help greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Mark
PS Thanks to whoever took this photo - I didn't

Hi Mark!
Look at this:
http://www.modell-lackierung.de/15901/16147.html
Ralf makes very nice and exact decals for a reasonable price. They are made of very thin water-transfer-sheet. The Eurofighter decal-set is made for the FC/C-ARF one and he used the best refferences you can get. Did you read the article about painting a eurofighter in the Jetpower-magazine? well, he wrote the article and painted that thing. He is also busy with a scale-cockpit. See the different layers for the panels

Gentlemen
I am currently doing the detailing on my Fibreclassics Eurofighter scale ( AKA Composite ARF )
version and have a few questions. I plan on the demonstration model DA 98+29. I have some fairly good documentation from books and magazines on the DA 98+29 but little on the wing surface detail. I understand the majority of the fuse and wing is carbon fibre. For those that have seen it up close - do screw heads / rivet detail show at all? I can see screws around the canopy frame and front nose section but they tend to disappear as you go aft?
TIA

David - oh wow!
Please can you ask Ralf to post some info on this thread regarding prices/availability as my German only stretches to asking the best way to the station or ordering a hot dog without mustard!

Rgds,
Mark

Hi MArk!
Well, that is not bad at all
I will send him a mail and ask him to post. Availability is no problem (for the decals), as he prints them himself on an expensive printer. He can even print white, silver and gold
. Prices are always fair. I#ll be back tomorrow.
I think there are details on the wing, because the different sheets are screwed to the structure. maybe Ralf can give more info!

David,
Do you know if the pictures on Ralf's website show all the decals or are there any more sheets? I know, for example, that aircraft DA1 (98+29) has insignia on the fin as shown here
http://www.eurofighter.com/images/me...36854GG-10.jpg
and wondered if the decals include these insignias as well??
Dean,
If you can get hold of Jet Power magazine Ralf did a 3 part article (Issues 3 and 4 2003 and Issue 1 2004) on applying a scale finish to the EuroFighter. Some of the photos in the articles show the lines of screws etc applied to the wing which may help you??
Rgds,

I just ordered mine :-)
The E-mail
"yes, you can buy a decal set for the composite-arf eurofighter. You can order: decal set for the DA1 (serial number 98+29), for the DA5 (serial number 98+30)(DA = Development Aircraft) and for the EF, which will fly in the German airforce (luftwaffe). The EF will produce in line now. You can choose the serial number of the EF. (30+??)
The decal set cost 60,00 euro plus shipping. all sets are water slide paper, verry thin!! You should spray matting clear coat over the decals after application. "

Nice to see they stole my canard linkage image for their flyer [
] It's about time they got off their ass and put some effort into fixing the weak areas on this kit....
