Default Thinning BVM Heatshield

Can Heatshield be thinned and sprayed through a HVLP gun? I need to spray a large sheet of thick honeycomb, what would I thin it with?

Thanks,

Chris

Well I just used some last night and it looks like the base component is latex. HOWEVER I would venture to say that the ceramic particles in the mix would play havoc with your HVLP gun. I think I would opt for the brush.

I suppose that I could brush it, I need it to look nice. I will try to thin it with some water and see what happens.

Thanks,

Chris

Go ahead and thin it with water. It is water based. Better to brush it .

HI
You can pout it on with a small sponge paint roller. you will get a good even finish.
