I was just wondering if any one has tried to put a whip type antenna in the vertical stabilizer? I was thinking that if you could make a fiberglass cover for the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer you might be able to hide it, instead of bolting to the outside of the airplane? Or if the vertical fin was already fiberglass then it would be even easier.

I have not tried it, just wanted to know if someone has.
