Default Byron Fan

I just bought a Byron fan for my enforcer but I do not think it is complete. Can some tell what all should be included in a New Byron fan, and or pics. This is for a OS 91 BTW.

Thanks
Donald

Impeller, motor mount, shroud and a bag of parts , including 4- 1&1/4" 8x32 socket head capscrews (Engine bolts) 1- 1" same for mount+3-more 1&1/4"same for mount, assortet sizes of nylon bushings (For different dia engine shafts), assorted thicknesses of 1" dia aluminium disks. (For impeller spacers), and one black ABS vac formed impeller adaptor. (To blend in the engine to the back of the impeller hub. It is too small for the .OS .91 tho.)

They used to include a balancer gizmo but I think it was discontinued.

hmmmm.

I have 3 parts. Impellar, shrod, and motor mount. I can find the bolts easy I am sure. What about the other items what will I need at a minumum to make this work? And where can I get them?

Just what you have is fine. You may need to find something for a shaft bushing, though, if there is none in the center of your impeller right now.

Getting a Hurrican impeller/fan will solve the other problem of "missing" items A note of caution: If you did NOT get any directions with the parts you have, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to mounting the shroud!! Why? The 4 mounting holes are not spaced equally. Before you mount it, ensure the engine mount holes are picked up in the shroud - this tells you (1) where the spider mount goes and (2) will help you figure out which part goes "up"!!

A VERY important point. Been there, done that, had much frustration trying to get it all worked out.
Redrilling new holes in the firewall is no fun.
A hurricane fan is great, if you can find one and afford one. It really does make a difference.
