Henry, Just FYI .... I have had great success making my own cradles out of PVC pipe. Its pretty easy with all the elbow and T fittings that are available. You can then use the foam pipe insulation over the parts of it that will contact the airplane. You can probably make one for under $ 25.
(incase you cannot get hold of an appropriate cradle from BVM).

Hi Buck,
Thanks for the help. Will order the cradle for the F18. Have received the Tam pipe as well as the necessary conversion kit through Shaun Evans and should be startinbg work on the F18 very soon. Will keep you posted on my progress and hopefully to post you some pictues of it. Thanks for all the tips you have given me.
Hello Bob,
Appreciate your help on the cradle. Reason for the BVM cradle is to use it for future travelling purpose. I have pipe stand for painting useage but the BVM Cradle will be good for travelling to other countries for flying. [sm=thumbup.gif]Thanks for your precious input.
Happy flying guys

Hi Albert,
It's one hell of a plane! Love every bits of it. However I am beginning to wonder where to fly it once it's finished. Perhaps I have to fly at Pulau Sudong. hehehehe......... Tuas is totally out now that the construction begins at Avenue 5. Why can't Singapore have a decent place to fly like our friends in Europe or US....[]

I am wondering if the cradle will fit under the formers for the Yellow twin?
Buck do they line up with where the cradle holders or even close? It would be a shame to have it sag or develop a stress crack from sitting without being on a former.
I to would like to build the cradle if it lines up.

Ian, the BVM cradle that Buck recommended fits the F18 nicely but you may need to level up one end of the cradle as it will tilt down forward if its not leveled. Other than that it fits nicely.
Albert, look forward to have a mini jet gathering in our homeland in the very near future. Call me anytime at 9836-3993 should we be maidening any jets.
