xxl jet from germany
I like the pictures from the Mallorca 2000 Jet meet. From the pictures I noticed the XXL jet img 2275, the large red white and blue jet with the canard and the tip tanks. I have owned two of these jets and have experienced a lot of problems the the CG and canard incidence. In order for the plane to fly straight and level I had to move the CG 5 inches forward of the recommend CG mark, and add a pound and a half of led weight to the nose of the aircraft I also moved the fuel cells as far forward as possible. Without the steps I just mentioned the aircraft would take off in about ten feet of it's roll out and go vertical, I believe the right location of the fuel cells and the right canard incidence would help the plane to balance at the suggested CG mark which would eliminate about five pound of nose weight.
I would appreciate a response from anyone who has put together and flown the XXL jet successfully without moving the CG from the recommend CG mark.
This plane is manufactured in Germany so if there is anyone who can help me in solving this problem please respond as soon as possible.
