No Mark I havent seen Johnny in tights, I would be happy if he at least wore underwear when we share a room.....now I know why he spends soo much money on clothes!!!
Whats this Mark....you havent soloed yet? On the Viper Jet? Is this true? All I can say is that there is a little chinamen out here in California that make 3 flights without ripping out the gear (if they come down) in that thing, so I know that you can do it. You will do it in Lake Whales, or else you'll never hear the end of it from B&J.
I love this tread, Bryce you and Johnny have made some of the best reading this side of the great wall. Keep it up, I cant wait to see you guy's in two days. Bryce, i am going to email you my flight info just in case J is a little "Busy" when i get in....you know how them spinners get!

Oh boy where to start....
Bryce nope haven't soloed in at least 12 years. They always make someone go with me unwillingly. Don't know why...hmmm.

Dave yep its true I am as yellow as Johnny's chicken with that 500' runway for the first time. With the name BlackCloud I gotta be cautious. Remember what happened on the maiden?[img][/img]

Basil, hey the rum runners, pina coladas and daquiris were for the ladies. Just Bacardi and Coke for me but the chef had to sample some of the works (For a certain moderator, no flying that day before something is said out of place.)
Good to see you got some head protection in the latest video. Allthough its not quite the same as a helmet

Mark, take some lessons from Johnny: if you are scared just talk alot of smack, chain smoke before every flight, tell everyone "guys guys guys.....I test flew this plane at the factory, so i can handle this thing no problem guys....and i landed this thing on a flat bed truck because there runway was a little rough......so you know that I'm the man......right guy's"
After a while you actually start believing some of that crap is true.........and you build your own confidence.
In this picture below, Johnny is working a deal on buying/selling a jet....... look closely to the hand holding the ciggarette.

Yesterday there was a bit of an "Afterparty" at Markham with 7 turbines and several "critics". A couple highlights from the day; George Vitini "aka Master Builder" Put the first official solo flights on his AD Rafale. These 3 flights were his first ever solo turbine flights. While on his second flight a "beeping noise" was heard by George. He asked his spotter (the infamous Robbie Lynch)................"what's that noise?" The reply he got was "Ummm.....George.....land right now and DON'T GO AROUND!" (his TX battery dropped to 8.0 volts!) George did a beautiful approach and landing. Congratulations George!

Next up is Jose Martinez, who flew his very large F-86 EDF. I have to be honest, this plane cruises at 1/3 throttle, smokes at half throttle and goes near vertical at full throttle. Now here's the kicker, IT FLYS FOR 14 MINUTES! Hat's off to Jose, he has been working very hard the past few years on the EDF's and finally technology has caught up with creativity. Look forward to seeing some more very cool stuff from Jose. CONGRATS JOSE!

hey bryce,do you think we should start a poll to see if J could pull off the COBRA
on his SU27? i.ve never seen him fly..and have REPEATEDLY asked for pics and video....could you help me out? i'm having trouble really working on this beast with no real satifaction
