Default BMT 120KS First Run ... Sweeeeet!

Ran the BMT 120KS tonight for the first time. Started up on the first try and ran smooth. I think the neighbors thought a jetliner was coming down in the neighborhood ... most all of the porch lights came on. Ah ... the smell of Jet A in the neighborhood!

First flight on the Kingcat is planned for tomorrow, weather permitting. We've been having some evening t-storms of late and my luck says it'll rain tomorrow!

I think Andre has a real winner with the 120KS ... I love the simplified setup with no propane required for starting!

Congrats Jamie,
The neighbours are going to love you from now on....
What you have experienced is what many find hard to believe. That starting without gas is not only safer and simpler to install, but is real fiddle free as well.
Good luck with the test flight.
Cheers
Andre

Well, Mickey down in TX was the distributor but I understand that he stopped (retired maybe?) due to health reasons. So ... I bought directly from Andre. You can reply to his post above for more info or go to his website. Do a search for BMT Turbine and it will pull it up.
