Default My new toy =o) custom paint completed!!!

PICS ON PAGE 2

Well, it's not a jet, but it's a cool toy to have! My biggest question is, I wonder if I can build a custom fit trailer for one jet to tow behind it LOL!!!! (seriously)

Anyway, I get to pick it up tomorrow, then take it all apart and do custom paint on it, THEN I'll finally be able to ride!!!

Here's a stock photo of it

Jeremy:

Can't stop with the paint.....got to get some 3 spoke chrome wheels, naughty pipes, slammer street bar with mild risers, chrome triple tree and lower fork sliders.......Then you can ride it

And get ready for a few puddle squirts in the face with the mini-skirt front fender......not the greatest for winding switchback roads, but what an Interstate Cruiser......

Had an FXST back in the mid 90s......never gave much thought to pulling a trailer with it though...enough to carry my lady.......

Doug,
7 more gives you a 9 cylinder radial........at least that's my guess.

Seven?
I sat there wondering about that myself, LOL, why a radial in a bike? And why a radial in a jet forum LOL!!!!!

Anyway, this thing has plenty of horsepower, and I've seen small bike tent trailers and stuff, has anyone ever tried building a trailer for one jet to tow behind a bike?

you're right Jeremy, no radial in the jet forum....[8D]

you got to get a turbine to make it go! Jay Leno has one of those (helicopter turbine powered bike)!!!!!! and it makes an awesome sound!

we could go racing

Well, here's my two new toys. One's a Road King Custom and the other is obvious, not a lot of woodie jets out there. One's a little more finished than the other though. You could put the kero in the saddle bags and with a few outriggers you're ready to roll. Maybe a side car would be the ticket.....$$$ Nope, the trailer would be a lot cheaper. There seems to be a few Hog owners with jets, we should have a biker jet fest.

Jeremy,
Congratulations for your new toy
I'm considering to buy one too, but like the one in the attach picture, which is retrofitted with an outboard engine and drop tanks.....is a local modification.[sm=bananahead.gif]
cool ahh?

Nice looking Softail. Be sure to post some pics when you get the paint done. Did you keep the engine stock? I went with the 95ci big bore kit and it makes a BIG difference over the stock 88ci motor.

Here's a pic of my 02 Road King Classic.

Jeremy, Congrats on the new bike. Nothing better than a quick hop around the beltline to calm the soul after a hard day at work or a hot evening mowing the lawn. Jets and bikes just seem to go together. Pic of my ride attached.

Wow, some damn nice rides here, maybe a biker jet-together wouldn't be a bad idea, then we can all figure out a good jet trailer design together LOL!!

I looked at some rockets before the Harley, and actually almost bought a Moto Guzzi, but parts availability was a turn off for me. Plus, I've ALWAYS wanted a Harley, and if I build a jet trailer, I'm more interested in the Harley's low end torque than the top end of a rocket :P hehehe

I was looking a the Guzzi's myself, pretty sweet ride. Like half the price of a duck but no service around here. I was also looking at the Rocket III from Triumph. I don't think I'd last too long on that beast before it killed me lol! I should do a AC/DC black theme trailer for the DV8R eh. Bet Pat would love that, seems to be a fan. I'll have to see how much black and chrome monocote I've got for the jet Wonder if you can get nice dead head markings...

Um.. Mopeds are never cool. They're like big women.. fun to ride but you wouldn't want your friends to catch you riding one.

Geez, I didn't think I was old either, I'm only 27 dude!
I looked at rockets too, but for promotional purposes to sell paint, a rocket does me no good, the Harley guys are the guys with money for paint, and they don't usually look at rockets

Um.. Mopeds are never cool. They're like big women.. fun to ride but you wouldn't want your friends to catch you riding one.
That's how I feel about Japanese Harley wanna-be's, it's kinda like dating a transvestite, it might look ok on the outside, but deep down you know something just isn't right LOL!!!!!
