How many turbine powered jets do you own?
I was thinking about how the turbine thing just kinda snuck up on me. I never thought I'd own one...now I have 2 and am thinking about my next project. This isn't any kind of an ego thing, I'm just interested in finding people who have the disease worse than me.

RE: How many turbine powered jets do you own?
In a week or so I'll have 4 jets.
Cangaroo with canards/ SimJet 2300
Skymaster F-15/ SimJet 3000
ViperJet/ SimJet 3000
My Skymaster F-18 Hornet is just around the corner. I have not decided on the powerplant yet, but I think it will be either a Simjet Nexus(4000?) when it's available, or a Frank turbine 70/16 with 18 kg. thrust.

Hey Bob:
Not a sickness, you work hard, you love your family, Momma knows were you are ( not in a bar ). And you love the challenge. Better than golf,,, OOps might get nailed on that one.

RE: How many turbine powered jets do you own?
Hi guys!
Actually I fly my Strikemaster (www.jetwelt.de) with P-120 power
Av8R waiting for the PST J-600 which is installed in the:
CASA C-101 (ready but not flown yet) and waiting to change from PST to P-60
Kangaroo getting a new turbine-mount and new paint waiting for a test-turbine from a friend
Fiberclassics F-86 still in the box waiting to be build
A few parts (formers and ribs) for an enlarged Palmer-Cougar 1/5th scale
Well, and still alot of ideas and wishes, but running out of time and money right now....

Chris
My F-35 is based on the Oakdale Aircraft kit. But a lot of it is scratch built. Contact Russ Ahlberg at www.oakdaleaircraft.com . I hope to be airborne at our meeting in Holstebro/DK i July.
