Are there any turbine trainers for small (SimJet 700/MW44) turbines?
Are there any turbine trainers for small (SimJet 700/MW44) turbines? Maybe something along the lines of a FACET or AV8R? If not, does anybody know of any companies planning to produce one in the not too distant future?
Many Thanks,

The Savex L39 is the obvious choice because they are a ARTF which is well made and does dot cost a fortune. Theres a thread about this plane and engine combo. But if you fancy a delta type plane then I haqve recently finished a Y.A stingray and fitted a 44 on it. It flys absolutly supurb and it is pleanty quick enough but the real winner for the stingray with this smaller engine is that unlike one with a RAM500 size engine it realy does slow up very well especially if the air brake is set up so it comes almost verticle.

These are supposed to be great kits, both the BeeJet and the FiveJet.

Hi adavis
The small Simjet 700 ore the MW44 will fly the Facet 1200 with ease. With a SimJet 700 ore MW 44. That airplane will be really light. And still have a nice size So it is easy to see. Ore like Jason is saying, the Y.A Stringray. That thing is also a great flying airplane.

OK, I'm tempted by the Facet 1200...
...I've got ask though: Are there any plans for a Facet 700?
Regards,

A friend of mine is very close to releasing an F7 Cutlass for the MW-44.
It started out flying with a Kress fan and an OS 46. He built a few just for flight testing. Then he built an all new plug and recently pulled the molds off it. His MW-44 will go into these planes for further testing then it will be ready.
It looks like its going to be a great kit with fuse and wings all molded in one part and it will be very strong.
The plane lends itself well to be a trainer type with the large wing area.
