Default tga f-15 ailerons

i have a TGA ultra eagle III with removable wings. the wings are not scale so they sent me the stock ailerons. in the instructions it says to taper them toward the root end and that they are 2in's wide. however the one that they sent me was only 1.5in's wide. so i was wondering if u have to taper the ailerons for the plane to fly. or if it would work just fine to keep them the way they are with out tapering them. thanks

You don't need to taper them. My first one flew just fine and I just picked up a second that are not tapered and I expect it will fly like a trainer too. Good luck.

I believe the taper is there for a somewhat more scale appearance
