This is one of my favorite Shows as the facilities are A ++++ and not to say the crowd is 110 % FLY TILL YOU DROP show .

I'll be there tomorrow for the day. Going to try out one of my dad's high power camera's in the cockpit. If things go smooth, hopefully I'll have a video to show online.

Im in Johnn's T-Rex right now looking at the back of Bryce's van at 95mph in the rain. I feel that its better when riding with Johnny to not look out the window..........especially when he's chasing Bryce. I cant wait to see them chase each other around the sky at lake whales.

So Jetblue Mark (who left several hours ahead of us.) keeps calling me and telling me how he wants to leave and start back because it is pouring raining and he's all upset because his tent was just shredded. Keep in mind folks we are all doing our best to see that Mark solo's at this venue which is perfect for his first flights. Even so, I have to do my best to convince him to stay. Finally he replies " Oh alright, I'll just sit here and watch my tent roll around like a dying spider!" I'm thinking "whatever mark, just hang in there." (as I call J)

Glen (of the 332nd) meets "The Strawboss." Dave is talking on Glen's cellphone to Basil who says he is on the way and will arrive by mid-afternoon. J is preparing for a first flight on the "Red Tail" after the nose repair from the flameout at Markham a couple weeks earlier.

After a couple of clicks of trim and some "passes" he sets up for a nice approach and so-so landing.

And with a Roar, Pat is off with the DV8R. Pat put in non-stop flights this weekend, a very impressive display of airmanship and capabilities of this very nice aircraft.
