Closing the "P200???" post was BS in my opinion. If you don't have good stuff to say about something (in this case the Jetcat P200) I guess your post need not go on this forum.

That WAS censorship. I saw no vote open to the membership whether it should be removed or not.

The members asked for it to be closed?
Why would anyone ask for it to be closed?
I didnt know that I could ask for a whole thread to be removed.

That's easy: The members that are either Reps for the Company or the Others associated with it. No Rocket science there

Kinda funny Ralphy it was my engine we were talking about and the problems I had with it. There was a solution to the problem I had with the engine, to my satisfaction I might add, and it was an isolated incident. I asked Bob Wilcox what the exact cause of the problem with the engine was before I replied to the original poster (even though I knew he had posted the question at the request of an AMT rep, thanks buddy I owe you one!) I gave a straight answer as to the problme I had no disinformation there. Some censor with nothing better to do than hang out on RCU comes along and decides to make up some BS excuse why he thought it should not be on here. I don't buy it!

Did i miss something or was there pertinent information that warranted censorship.

Well Ralph is just being Ralph....

Neither Bob nor myself had anything to do with this being taken down. We have no idea why it was taken down or who had anything to do with it. If I had been consulted I would have said to leave it up just to avoid this impression and giving ammo to people like Ralph.

I think JetCat has been one of the most open of all of the turbine companies. At least we have tried to be.

I stepped out for few hours and now all hell seems to be breaking loose.

I do not know why the thread in question was removed or who removed it, but I would definitely look into it. FWIW and IMOHO, the thread should have been left alone.

Meanwhile, calm down gentlemen and allow us some time to figure out what transpired here.

Regards

Ben

David........I don't know why you felt the need to start an inflammatory thread like this. What purpose does it serve? Did it make you feel better? Not to sound like your father...but as a rep and a modeler that a lot of people look up to, your first post is disappointing.

I just got home and told you in my return PM to you why such a thing might occur. I also told you I would shake the tree and see what fell out. What more would you like done?

As to the censorship. This BB is owned by Marc Vigod. He says what is allowed to remain and what gets removed. Make no mistake......free speech does not apply here. Was that plain enough?

We, the jet mods, let a lot more crap slide here than is allowed in other forums. I am reasonably proud of that fact. The jet community is pretty tight and I think that a freer flowing forum promotes that. We don't always get everything right, maybe not even most. We do try though. We also endeavor to fix mistakes when they are brought to our attention. This is not a call for kudos.

This thread will be left open so that David can respond....then it will be closed.

RCU is very heavily censored. Should be renamed 1984U.

Jeeze, D.R. have you forgotten to take your Prozac, again???
I have an idea.................if you don't like the way this forum is ran, why don't you start your own.
Go ahead and give me a blast of your bullsh*t, I couldn't care less.
Keep kissing Jetcat's a*s, I sure they will love you for it. It is so obvious what you are up to. You did the same thing when you flew that RAM junk.

OK, let me have it.
