Anyone have a good source for missiles and bombs ranging from 1/5 scale through 1/9 scale? Thanks in advance.

I love building jet- engines and the related problems, but the idea of evolution to bombs and missiles is way too far. Too far in any aspect. Destructive in thoughts and actions. There should be an law prihibitng that idea of making , carrying and launching missiles and bombs in the Model-Aviation hobby.Today an innicent firework and tomorrow a real bomb. Bad people can use this idea. This is not allowable. Dangerous idea that can hurt children and innocent people. And... my objection has nothing to do with conservative thinking. Just logics.
Better make videoshots of flight or thinking about refueling in the air.
Not enough war in the world? Here in Europe people are tired of the word WAR and all that is in relation with that word.

Uh...dude I was talking about INERT STATIC MISSILES and BOMBS not launchable destructive stuff, That is against AMA and US Federal rules. Wow, You are wired tight. I just want something to dress up the jet.

ATTENTION: Anyone that wants to respond, let me clarify before this gets out of hand!!!! I would like a source for STATIC stuff for DISPLAY ON A JET ONLY!!! Kinda like drop tanks and wing pylons that are now available. I believe there were several sources that made plastic or fiberglass MODELS of missiles and bombs. Thanks and keep in mind what I am looking for.

I am glad you understood my intent. I believe it was your fully loaded F-4 I saw a couple of years ago and it looked pretty sharp. These will be used for a Byron F-15 with an AMT Pegasus. Thanks again and keep em straight.........

1/5 or 1/9 targets are targets . Today there is flying a huge scale B52(without bombs for the time beeing).
Tomorrow it will seek after targets. And those machines are impressive. But the aim is targets . Why not launch food with parachutes for poor people and children watching the show?
(Hint)
So I prefer the loads of a scale huge C17;Can be more humanitarian thinking.

OH Please!!!! I guess I will take all the bombs and missles off my F-4 and hang candy canes and suckers off the pylons.....now that would be a realistic model! How about we load the bombs on there and use the children watching the show as the targets?

What exactly did you think Scale meant? If "fake bombs" works for you "hopefully always" it will work for others and they will UNDERSTAND my question for a source for "Hopefully always fake scale stuff".

The Scale ordnance Inc. consortium of Joe Grice, Mark Taylor, and Paul Bageman Have 1/6th scale MK82 500lb Snakeye high drags that have been seen at Florida Jets and TopGun. CNC machined aluminum and very scale operation. If interested, e-mail for details.

A few qusetions:

How does your mind wrap around the idea that spending many thousands of dollars on a turbine powered plane to fire a hobby shop model rocket would be a more effective destructive device than spending the same amount of money on the black market for some real ordnance? I bet 6 or 7 thousand dollars would net you one helluva lot more killing power than poking someones eye out with a model rocket.

I have noticed that you 'Europeans' (that are so taken a-back with the killing of innocent lives) are also the leaders in production of the finest firearms in the world. My best Browning guns are stamped 'Made in Belgium' on the barrel. These type of weapons have killed more innocent people worldwide than all of the recent wars in the same amount of time. So why don't you start at home to rid the world of evil?
Don't get me wrong, I belive that everone has the right to keep and bear arms. And the reason for that is to protect themselves from a out of control government that has promised to protect the people if only they give up thier guns. (But then when it all goes wrong the people can't defend themselves against thier "protectors").
So, you might want to ask yourself as you put another flower in your hair and flash peace signs why it IS that you can post these ideas on this list at all, much less me having to translate them from the german or russian language.

Awhile back I believe Frank Tiano Enterprises sold either plastic or fiberglass scale bombs for WWII prop planes. Anyone know if he still sells these or modern ordinance for jets? Thanks

I'm totally confused now we went from static bombs and missiles to a B-52 carring real bombs. Its the same process as building a plastic model there on the plane for an effect. Guess when i build my tomcat im gonna put a minature bb gatling gun in it and chase the kids in the neighborhood "NOT!!!!"

On a lighter side i saw a site on here where a guy made an rc version of the paveway guided bomb. video camera in the seeker head and fully controlible. He used some bit of imagination on that. if any of you know what im talking about and have the link can you post it. tottally awesome looking..
